Qualifications

• Experience delivering friendly, professional customer service.
• Ability to identify sales opportunities and build customer loyalty.
• Strong communication skills for in-person, email, and phone interactions.
• Experience performing basic warehouse tasks and order fulfillment.
• Ability to learn multiple computer systems used for customers and warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full customer experience from product selection to order entry.
• Maximize sales opportunities and encourage loyalty.
• Adapt communication style to different audiences.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will call orders.
• Prepare backorders and stock put-away.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Conduct inventory counts.
• Navigate multiple computer systems for customer and warehouse tasks.
• Maintain branch appearance per Grainger standards.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE.
