Job summary

Penguin Random House is seeking a hands-on Desktop Support Analyst to provide onsite technical support across warehouse and administrative spaces. You'll handle Windows workstations, kiosks, RF devices, printers, and related hardware with strong customer service.

Collaboration with IT teams and vendors is essential to keep operations running smoothly. Experience with MS 365, Outlook/Teams, and basic networking will help diagnose issues quickly while maintaining documentation in ServiceNow.

Qualifications

3+ years of desktop, end-user, field, or technical support experience.
Hands-on experience with Windows desktops, laptops, hardware, peripherals, printers, and mobile devices.
Working knowledge of wired/wireless networking and basic patching.
Strong troubleshooting to diagnose hardware, software, device, and connectivity issues.
Excellent customer-service and interpersonal skills for diverse employees.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite technical support for warehouse, operations, and administrative staff across multiple shifts.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and deploy Windows workstations, kiosks, monitors, and peripherals.
Support warehouse/mobile technology (RF handhelds, barcode scanners, mobile devices, printers).
Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and related end-user tech; assist with network connectivity.
Support conference room tech (Cisco AV) and coordinate with IT teams/vendors for escalations.
Document incidents in ServiceNow and manage IT equipment inventory.
