Thruway Fasteners is seeking a Vendor Managed Inventory Lead to manage in-plant inventory at a key customer location in Morton Grove, IL. The role involves scanning, restocking, and daily interaction with customer leadership to optimize stock levels.

The position requires physical warehouse tasks, 2nd shift, and daily collaboration with the customer to ensure accurate orders and defect-free deliveries. A high school diploma and warehouse experience preferred.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior warehouse/distribution experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a neat, ~2000 sq ft fenced warehouse area.
• Receive inventory to customer location.
• Perform physical inventory cycle counts and daily bin audits.
• Receive, unpack and refill bins as needed.
• Move materials from receiving docks and staging area.
• Stage for deliveries within the plant and assist daily with scans.
• Attend daily customer meetings to review consumption and adjust inventory levels.
• Ensure orders match customer sizes and specs; report defects.
