Job summary

SunStrong Management, LLC is seeking an Onsite Vendor Program Manager to act as the day-to-day liaison between SunStrong’s internal teams and the vendor’s staff at a subservicer location. The role is embedded onsite in Sioux Falls, SD, driving initiatives, tracking milestones, coordinating training, and ensuring clear bidirectional communication.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in project/program or vendor management, strong communication with executives, and robust Excel/PowerPoint

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or related field.
• At least 3 years in project/program management, vendor management, or operations coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with experience engaging C-suite.
• Ability to critically review presentations, reports, and performance data for accuracy.
• Working knowledge of SLAs, KPIs, and linking activities to outcomes.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; ability to build project trackers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SunStrong’s onsite liaison between internal departments and the vendor’s teams.
• Maintain project plans, milestones, owners, and due dates; escalate risks.
• Communicate changes accurately in both directions; log decisions and items.
• Coordinate onsite visits and training; manage agendas, logistics, and follow-up.
• Review decks and reports for accuracy and alignment with data.
• Explain context and reasoning behind SunStrong’s initiatives to vendor teams.
• Observe operations onsite, identify gaps, and report findings to leadership.
• Gather SLA/KPI data and help create corrective action plans.
• Lead or support recurring status meetings and maintain contact lists.
