Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist I to support registration data entry and vehicle processing at the Cox location. You will input VIN, stock numbers, dealer IDs, and vehicle details using handheld devices and place labels on arriving vehicles.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and coordination with transporters, with a daytime schedule in a non-remote environment. Prior entry-level logistics or clerical experience is helpful, and a valid license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or less than 2 years of related work experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information for registration into the system using a handheld computer for each vehicle received.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles
• Associate and install OBDII tracking device.
• Direct transporters to proper car drop zone.
• Follow safety procedures and support safety initiatives.
