Job summary

Cox Automotive in Ohio seeks a Logistics Specialist I to accurately input vehicle data into the Auction system using a handheld device, capturing VIN, stock numbers, dealer IDs, and vehicle specs.

The role requires installing OBDII devices, directing transporters, and ensuring safety standards are followed. It is an on-site position with comprehensive benefits and opportunities within Cox Automotive.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information for registration into the system using a handheld computer (Zebra TC) for each vehicle received at the Auction, including VIN.
• Record stock numbers, dealer IDs, make/model/year, mileage and color.
• Affix barcode/stock number stickers and place work order numbers on vehicles.
• Associate and install OBDII tracking device and guide transporters to drop zones.
• Follow safety procedures and support Safety Excellence initiatives; perform other duties as assigned.
