Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking an on-site Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist I to support the auction process and vehicle intake workflow. You will input vehicle data, label and route vehicles, and help ensure accurate installation of tracking devices.

The position emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and collaboration with transporters and safety leadership on a day shift at Cox locations in the United States. The role is non-remote and offers hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Generally, less than 2 years’ experience in a related field.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information for registration into the system using a handheld computer (Zebra TC) for each vehicle received at the Auction.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
• Associate and install OBDII tracking device.
• Direct transporters to proper car drop zone.
• Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures.
• Work with safety leadership in support of Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
