Job summary
Koniag Information Technology Services (KITS), a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Unified Communications Engineer with a secret clearance to support the Army in Huntsville, AL. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years supporting UC/VTC systems and infrastructure.
- Experience with Cisco collaboration products and technologies.
- Background in enterprise communication systems.
- Knowledge of H.323 and SIP protocols.
- Active secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for UC/VTC systems and infrastructure.
- Develop solutions to complex problems in H.323 and SIP systems.
- Deliver top-level support for telepresence and video conferencing technologies.
- Provide operational support and performance analysis of global collaborative services.
- Ensure supporting infrastructure is stable, reliable, and optimized.
- Maintain, configure, upgrade, and manage UC/VTC infrastructure components (Cisco Meeting Servers, Video Communication Servers, Multipoint Control Units, Gatekeepers, Call managers, Content servers, Telepresence management suites, CODECS, UC soft-client solutions, Virtualized appliances).
- Evaluate IAVAs and security-related updates and assess impact on UC environment.
- Apply firmware updates and patches to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Assist RMF accreditation documentation updates and maintain compliance.
- Manage internal dial plans and ensure interoperability with external DoD/Army networks.
