Job summary

Yoh is seeking a UAS Hardware Integration Technician in San Diego, CA for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on building, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical hardware for unmanned aircraft and HIL environments, with strict ITAR US Person requirements.

You will integrate flight controllers, sensors, payloads, and power components, troubleshoot with DMMs and oscilloscopes, and work onsite with potential extension based on performance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building, integrating, testing, or repairing UAS hardware or similar electromechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of UAS hardware, flight controllers, onboard computers, sensors, actuators, payloads, and communications hardware.

Responsibilities

• Build, install, test, and maintain electrical/electromechanical hardware for unmanned aircraft and HIL environments.
• Integrate flight controllers, sensors, payloads, and power components into test configurations.
• Read electrical schematics and connector pinouts to support assembly and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose issues with electrical, communications, and electromechanical systems using test equipment.
• Maintain documentation, BOMs, and test records.
