Job summary

MANTECH in Solana Beach, CA, seeks a motivated Unmanned Aircraft Systems Data Integration & Processing Specialist to join onsite. The role focuses on transforming multi-sensor flight datasets into actionable intelligence, including LiDAR, hyperspectral, and multispectral processing.

Responsibilities include building automated data pipelines, calibrating multi-sensor payloads up to 55 lbs, and developing scripts in Python, C/C++, Java, and SQL to streamline ingestion and analysis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years in remote sensing or unmanned aviation.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro and remote-sensing software.
• Experience processing LiDAR, hyperspectral, and multispectral data.
• Experience scripting in Python, C/C++, Java, and SQL.
• Direct experience with UAS autopilot software and hardware (ArduPilot, Pixhawk).
• Experience with MBSE tools or modeling data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Architect, maintain, and automate end-to-end data processing pipelines for LiDAR and multispectral data.
• Calibrate and operate multi-sensor payloads on UAS up to 55 lbs.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, C/C++, Java, and SQL.
• Perform advanced spectral analyses and radiometric calibration.
• Serve as Remote Pilot in Command under FAA Part 107.
• Use Matlab/Simulink and ANSYS to analyze trajectories and sensor dynamics.
• Collaborate with MBSE teams to model data workflows and ensure payload integration.
