Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, seeks a Staff Software Engineer to advance autonomous aircraft integration. You will lead software deployment on unmanned platforms, integrate with sensors and avionics, and support flight tests and demonstrations.

You will work across software, autonomy, and test teams, troubleshoot complex HW/SW issues, and develop automation to improve testing and data analysis. On-site in select US locations with travel to field sites.

Formación

• Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience (5+ with master).
• Strong C++ and Python programming skills.
• Experience with embedded/real-time systems and Linux.
• Familiarity with ROS/DDS and flight-test environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead integration and deployment of autonomous software on unmanned aircraft.
• Integrate software with onboard computing, sensors, avionics, and interfaces.
• Prepare, build, and validate systems for flight testing and demonstrations.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting during flight-test events.
• Diagnose hardware/software integration issues across embedded/ autonomy stacks.
• Analyze flight-test data to identify issues and improvements.
• Collaborate across software, autonomy, guidance, and test teams.
• Develop scripts and processes to improve testing and diagnostics.
