Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks diligent TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at dedicated TurboTax locations across the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax preparation, advice, and software support for both personal and business needs, while partnering with specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services. You will actively grow the local client base, foster community partnerships, and leverage marketing tools to build relationships and drive loyalty

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Operating hours are subject to change and will likely scale up during periods of peak customer demand, such as tax season
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development. Training requirements are subject to change based on business needs and the company reserves the right to introduce additional requirements at any time

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments).
• Assist in growing local TurboTax client base through outreach and events.
• Collaborate with team to connect clients to bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Deliver a seamless end-to-end Intuit experience in person and virtually.
• Engage with local community and represent TurboTax in marketing efforts.
