Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location in the United States. You will deliver in-person tax preparation, expert advice, and software support while building local client relationships and driving growth in the community.

The role emphasizes hands-on tax services, tax planning guidance, and exceptional customer experience in a front-facing retail setting. Must reside in the United States and be eligible to work onsite.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and deep tax law knowledge.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per tax season with professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail/flagship location, Sunday–Saturday, at least 20 hours/week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating tax tips/resources for the community.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador, representing TurboTax locally and engaging prospects to become long-term clients.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Lead local marketing efforts and make taxes accessible and approachable in the community.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government resources and professional tools, with clear everyday language.
• Ensure exceptional customer experience and help clients reach financial goals like retirement, education, and major purchases.
• Build long-term trust through in-person and digital interactions using TurboTax tools.
