Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in North Carolina.

• Preferred: telephone triage experience in a medical setting.
• Must be willing to work onsite with occasional float to other RHG sites.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients to determine urgency and appropriate care pathway.
• Handle patient calls, provide lab/test results instructions and refills per protocol.
• Coordinate follow-up care and communication with providers.
• Document telephone and clinical encounters in EMR.
• Provide phlebotomy and administer immunizations when needed.
• Staff clinic and support medical team to ensure smooth day flow.
• Relate with warmth and professionalism to patients and team.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with safety and privacy standards.
