Crawford Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring a Transportation Supervisor at our RDC/Branch in Texas. You will lead daily transportation operations, coordinate with drivers, dispatch, sales, and warehouse teams, and drive safety and continuous improvement initiatives to meet service goals.

The role emphasizes accountability, coaching, and fleet readiness, with a focus on on-time delivery and customer service excellence in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work additional hours to meet deadlines.
• Experience in transportation operations or dispatch is preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus.
• Ability to lead and coach drivers and dispatch staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dispatch execution and route management.
• Lead transportation operations and ensure safety and service.
• Drive on-time delivery performance and reliability.
• Coach drivers; manage attendance and staffing.
• Maintain fleet readiness and coordinate maintenance.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve performance.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
