Job summary

Expeditors International is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to support onsite trade compliance activities in Grapevine, TX. The role focuses on ensuring import/export compliance, coordinating with customers, freight forwarders, and customs officers to keep shipments moving smoothly.

You will manage daily ticketing for customs requests, monitor regulatory requirements, and contribute to process improvements while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience in a relevant field.
• 1–3 years related experience in customs compliance operations or import/export roles preferred.
• Understanding of international trade, customs regulations, and Incoterms.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and provide excellent service.
• Identify and address issues impacting customer satisfaction and improve outcomes.
• Monitor and manage ticketing for customs compliance requests.
• Ensure 100% adherence to laws, regulations, and policies.
• Review shipping documents and invoices for import/export compliance.
