Job summary

Expeditors International is seeking a Trade Compliance Coordinator (Onsite) to support the smooth movement of goods worldwide from our Georgia operations. You will handle import/export administration, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and work with customers, freight forwarders, and customs officers to coordinate shipments.

The role emphasizes accurate document review, monitoring compliance, and advising on regulatory matters while maintaining exceptional service levels and tracking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to triage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and provide excellent service.
• Identify issues affecting customer satisfaction and implement solutions.
• Monitor ticketing system for customs compliance requests and resolve quickly.
• Ensure 100% adherence to laws, regulations, and policies.
• Review shipping documents for import/export compliance and accuracy.
• Advise on import/export restrictions and regulatory requirements.
