Job summary

Expeditors International is seeking a District Trade and Customs Compliance Manager to lead trade compliance across branches within the district. This full-time role focuses on promoting a culture of compliance, training staff, and delivering consistent, compliant customer service in line with Expeditors’ standards.

The ideal candidate will drive training, monitor branch performance, and coordinate with RTCM and DTC to implement corrective actions, while staying current on evolving regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years at Expeditors or similar experience in trade and customs space.
• Passion for Trade Compliance and doing the right thing.
• Proficiency in English and one local language spoken in the District.

Responsibilities

• Create a Tone of Compliance Messaging in Branches and promote a solutions-oriented environment.
• Train branch personnel and deliver regular Trade Compliance training to maintain aptitude.
• Monitor branch workflow and report anomalies; run import/export compliance reports.
• Escalate non-compliance following company procedures and inform RTCM/DTCM of issues.
• Stay current on Trade Compliance laws, communicate changes, and participate in ongoing SME training.
