Job summary

Burnett Staffing Specialists is partnering with a North Austin corporate technology services company to staff Tier 1 Tech Support roles. The position involves handling phone and email inquiries, performing initial diagnostics, and escalating complex incidents as needed.

This is a long-term, on-site opportunity in Austin with a 24/7 center and a 7am–4pm shift coverage option. Ideal candidates have 6 months+ Help Desk experience or an IT certification/degree, strong verbal and written

Qualifications

• 6 months+ of Help Desk experience or IT certification/degree.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Basic experience with Windows NT/2000/XP, MS Office and MS-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to client calls and emails professionally.
• Perform initial diagnostics and attempt first-contact resolution.
• Record incidents with priority and category and escalate when needed.
• Follow Service Desk processes and assist in knowledge management.
