Job summary

RTX’s San Diego Manufacturing Depot is seeking a Test Technician to join a small, skilled team supporting warfighter programs. You will conduct functional and performance testing on electronic and mechanical systems, document results, and collaborate with engineering to improve test processes and methodologies.

This onsite, 1st shift role requires a HS diploma and at least one year of testing experience, with familiarity using DMMs, oscilloscopes, HV meters, and related equipment. U.S.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 1 year of relevant testing experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a testing environment.
• Experience with test/evaluation equipment including DMMs, oscilloscopes, and HV meters.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional and performance testing on electronic and mechanical systems.
• Evaluate failed assemblies to determine root causes, focusing on high voltage testing.
• Document test procedures and results accurately.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve test processes.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment.
• Read drawings, instructions, and schematics to support testing.
• Generate status reports on tests and issues.
