Job summary

RTX in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Test Technician to conduct functional and performance tests on electronic and mechanical systems, troubleshoot failures, and document procedures. This is a 2nd shift, onsite role.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or AA/AS with at least 4 years in testing, experience with test equipment/software, and U.S. citizenship. Training on first shift for 6-8 weeks will occur.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a testing environment.
• Experience with testing equipment and software.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional and performance testing on electronic and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve test failures and anomalies.
• Document test procedures and results accurately.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test processes and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment.
• Generate reports on test status, issues, and actions.
• This is a 2nd shift, onsite position.
