Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to follow blueprints, perform functional tests, and document results on precision electronic equipment in a manufacturing setting. The role includes loading test beds, using DMMs, scopes, and signal generators, and adhering to safety and quality guidelines.

Applicants should have an AS in Electronics Technology or equivalent, with preference for RF/digital/analog circuit experience and schematic literacy.

Qualifications

• You must have U.S. Person status to be eligible.
• AS in Electronics Technology or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent schematic reading and test equipment skills.
• Experience with RF, digital and analog circuits is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprints and diagrams to meet specs and tolerances.
• Perform functional testing per pre-established procedures.
• Record data and service test equipment during tests.
• Document acceptance or failure results and update records.
• Use hand tools and testers like DMM, oscilloscope and signal generators.
• Load/unload electronic equipment in test beds and maintain safety.
• Contribute to quality systems and continuous improvement.
• Meet internal/external deadlines and train others when needed.
