Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Assembly II to repair, fabricate, and modify electro-mechanical assemblies at our San Diego depot. The role operates onsite on a 1st shift and involves soldering transformers, power supplies, and magnetic components per engineering docs.

You will read detailed wiring diagrams, use hand tools, document production data, and maintain quality while supporting continuous improvement. Candidates should have a HS diploma and 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with related technical education.
• Minimum 1 year of assembly/manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 1 year of production hand-soldering experience.
• Experience with electromechanical drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Repair, fabrication, and modification of electromechanical assemblies per docs.
• Solder transformers, power supplies, and magnetic assemblies per instructions.
• Read and follow wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Perform hand-soldering to industry standards.
• Use basic software/tools for documentation and data entry.
• Inspect for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean work area and support improvements.
• Work primarily onsite; may stand/bend/kneel as needed.
