Job summary

LHH Recruitment is partnering with a manufacturing company in Mesa to hire a Temporary HR Assistant to cover maternity leave. This onsite role supports HR operations, delivers excellent employee service, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Compensation ranges from $26.00 to $28.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include onboarding, maintaining records, processing verifications, scheduling interviews, aiding benefits enrollment, and handling HR documentation with confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably supporting Human Resources.
• Previous HR Assistant or Human Resources administrative experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience with an HRIS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team.
• Assist with onboarding and new hire paperwork.
• Maintain employee records and ensure accurate documentation.
• Process employment verifications and personnel file requests.
• Schedule interviews, meetings, and employee orientations.
• Assist with benefits enrollment and HR documentation.
• Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Support recruiting efforts by coordinating interviews and communicating with candidates.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other HR-related documents.
• Perform data entry and maintain confidentiality of employee information.
• Assist with special HR projects as assigned.
