Addison Group in Oklahoma City is seeking an experienced Director of Technology to lead IT infrastructure, systems, networking, and technology operations in a large high-availability environment. You will manage IT and AV/technical teams while partnering with senior leadership to drive major initiatives and ensure reliable, scalable technology across the facility.

The role combines strategic direction with hands-on depth, overseeing budgets, vendor relationships, and critical incident escalation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience leading IT infrastructure and technology operations.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking.
• Experience overseeing servers and systems administration.
• Experience managing technical staff.
• Disaster recovery and business continuity knowledge.
• Experience in high-availability environments.
• Ability to lead major IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for IT infrastructure and technology operations.
• Oversee enterprise networking, servers, systems, security, and technical support.
• Lead a team of IT and technical professionals with process discipline.
• Ensure systems remain reliable in high-impact live-event environments.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Direct infrastructure upgrades, migrations and implementations.
• Support planning for facility transitions, expansions, relocations, or new construction.
• Manage third-party technology providers and vendor relationships.
• Partner with internal departments and external partners on tech needs.
• Provide technical guidance and escalation support for complex issues.
• Assist with technology budgeting and long-term planning.
• Coordinate tech needs for major events and critical activities.
• Evaluate systems and recommend improvements for reliability and security.
