Job summary

Reboot, Inc. seeks a Technology Alignment Engineer to reduce reactive service demands by benchmarking client technologies against MSP standards and minimizing downtime.

The role also focuses on identifying professional service revenue opportunities through technical findings and strengthening knowledge through comprehensive documentation and SOPs. The TAE will perform proactive reviews, develop scorecards, and maintain a robust library of client technology documentation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on network infrastructure knowledge: firewalls, switches, wireless APs
• Physical security of server rooms and environmental controls
• Experience with HP/Dell servers and SAN/NAS storage
• Ability to document configurations and maintain SOPs
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled proactive reviews of client environments
• Benchmark client infrastructure using established tools
• Identify risks from aging or misconfigured systems
• Drive down tickets per endpoint per month and resolution times
• Develop and manage client technology documentation and SOP library
• Maintain knowledge of client technologies and scorecards
• Attend weekly Internal Security Calls and align with team KPIs
• Represent company onsite and manage client relationships
• Collaborate with service delivery to advance client service initiatives
• On-call and weekly activities to support proactive reviews
