Job summary

Silvus Technologies seeks a full-time Technical Trainer to deliver, develop, and maintain training programs for new and existing Operations staff at our Salt Lake City site. You will ensure ISO 9001 compliance for training records and proctor IPC certification courses, partnering with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.

The role is onsite, Monday to Friday, with responsibilities spanning curriculum updates, documentation, and ensuring personnel are trained to Silvus standards and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3–5 years of hands-on Electronics Manufacturing or Technical Training experience.
• Experience delivering hands-on training in a Production or Manufacturing setting.
• Experience with soldering, PCB assembly, or inspection processes.
• Experience maintaining training records/documentation.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings, work instructions, and inspection requirements.
• Proficient with PC and MS Office.
• U.S. Person due to federal contracts.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training for new Operations staff, including assembly, inspection, soldering, and equipment use.
• Maintain and update training curricula, training materials, skill assessments, and qualification documentation.
• Ensure training records, matrices, and competency logs are complete and ISO 9001 compliant.
• Proctor and administer IPC-J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 training and evaluations.
• Maintain a clean, organized training area with equipment and training boards.
• Update training materials based on ECO changes or process improvements.
• Conduct refresher training and re-certification for Operations staff.
• Collaborate with Production to track training progress and completion.
• Assist in generating or updating work instructions and visual aids for training.
• Participate in internal/external ISO audits with training documentation.
