Job summary

ISC - Interconnect Solutions Company is seeking a Technical Training Manager to design and deliver hands‑on and classroom training across all ISC facilities. You will onboard new hires, maintain certification schedules, and drive IPC standards awareness on the production floor.

You will lead 5S and Gemba training, support lean initiatives, and collaborate with Quality to ensure AS9100 compliance and process alignment. This is an in‑office role with some remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years experience with IPC standards in manufacturing.
• Proficient in IPC‑A‑610 and IPC‑A‑620.
• Experience delivering hands‑on training on the production floor.
• Hands‑on experience with soldering, cable/harness assembly, or PCB inspection.
• Working knowledge of 5S and Lean concepts.
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver training programs for all ISC facilities.
• Onboard new hires with workmanship, safety, quality expectations.
• Provide recurring and refresher training per certification schedules.
• Maintain training calendar and coordinate with Manufacturing leadership.
• Adapt delivery to diverse learning styles (visual, hands‑on, written).
• Track training records and certifications for all personnel.
• Deliver IPC workmanship training for IPC‑A‑610, IPC‑A‑620, and IPC‑7711/7721 as applicable.
• Administer IPC certification testing and renewals.
• Serve as on‑site IPC SME; support non‑conformance investigations.
• Collaborate with Quality to align training with AS9100 standards.
• Work toward or maintain IPCC CIT credential.
• Lead 5S training and Gemba walk training.
• Support Lean fundamentals training and continuous improvement.
• Document Lean training outcomes and track floor‑level improvements.
• Ensure training materials reflect current processes required by IPC or customers.
