Job summary

AIC is seeking an on-site software engineer to embed with design partners and manufacturers across their operations in El Segundo. You will own the software stack—from data models and ETL to backend/frontend code and hardware integrations—and drive adoption through trust and hands-on collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a fast production environment, product/design experience, and strong communication. Relocation support and equity are part of the package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering in a fast, collaborative production environment.
• Product and design experience is required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with data-intensive applications and data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Embed on-site with design partners and manufacturers for extended periods.
• Build trust across the organization from GM to technicians.
• Understand partner shop dynamics and constraints.
• Translate observations into concrete requirements and own software delivery on-site and at HQ.
• Write production code across the full stack and coordinate on-site and HQ teams.
