Job summary
AIC is a software-led industrial holding company, seeking a software engineer to embed on-site with design partners and manufacturers. You will write full-stack production code, emphasize React/TypeScript frontends, and drive software deployment in real factory environments.
Based in El Segundo or Brooklyn Navy Yard, you will coordinate across teams to deliver operational improvements and measurable financial outcomes, with relocation assistance available.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of software engineering in a fast, collaborative production environment.
- Strong React and TypeScript fundamentals and data-intensive frontend experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL, APIs, hardware integration, or ML is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Embed on-site with design partners and manufacturers for extended periods.
- Write production code across the full stack (frontend, backend, data pipelines).
- Design frontend architecture, components, and design system conventions.
- Coordinate work with HQ and on-site staff to ensure alignment with operations.
- Translate field observations into concrete requirements and deploy software.
- Own outcomes and operational maturity, not just features shipped.
