Job summary

The Villages in Middleton, FL is seeking a full-time on-site Project Deployment Specialist to work with the projects team to plan, prep, deploy, and document technical initiatives. You will use ConnectWise and other project management tools to track client needs, coordinate deployments, train staff, and maintain SOPs.

A driven communicator with attention to detail will thrive in this role. This position requires a high school diploma (or GED) and may prefer CompTIA A+ or Project+ certifications,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• CompTIA A+ and/or CompTIA Project+ certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of IT hardware, peripherals, and common tech concepts.
• Willing to work nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unpackage, install, and test hardware for technology projects.
• Software testing and QC checks weekly for development.
• Assist PMs in planning and deployments.
• Train TSG and client staff on new systems.
• Update SOPs for deployments.
• Lead on-site deployment direction for projects.
• Serve as post-deployment contact until training complete.
• Maintain project repositories and inventory updates.
• Communicate via all current devices/software.
• Manage old equipment disposal as needed.
• Provide feedback for future deployments.
• Other duties as assigned.
