Job summary

The Villages in Middleton, FL is seeking an on-site Project Deployment Technician responsible for unpackage, install, test hardware, assist PMs and train staff on new systems.

You will coordinate with the projects team, maintain SOPs, track inventory, and ensure deployments meet scope. Requires HS diploma, IT hardware knowledge, and CompTIA certs preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 2–4 years related experience or equivalent.
• CompTIA A+ and/or CompTIA Project+ certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of IT hardware concepts and peripheral devices.
• Familiarity with USB types, network cabling, and power adapters.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Unpackage, install, and test hardware for technology projects.
• Perform software testing and QC checks weekly for development.
• Assist project managers in planning for deployments.
• Train staff on new systems including hardware and software policies.
• Maintain SOPs for product deployments.
• Serve as on-site deployment lead and coordinate technicians.
