Job summary

Intuit seeks dedicated TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States, helping customers with tax preparation, advice, and software support. You’ll grow the local TurboTax client base and deliver a trusted, personalized service in your community.

As a front-facing specialist, you’ll use TurboTax tools and tax knowledge to complete returns, advise on deductions, and drive customer loyalty, while participating in local marketing efforts

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador by representing TurboTax locally and engaging with prospects.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience, building long-term relationships and assisting with inquiries using TurboTax tools.
