Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide full service tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support for in-person customers while growing TurboTax’s client base in the local community.

This role is non-exempt and requires onsite presence. You’ll be part of a collaborative team of financial experts, representing TurboTax and helping customers navigate their tax needs and achieve

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador and represent TurboTax locally.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and plan for the future.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience with professionalism and empathy.
• Build long-term relationships and attract new clients through local marketing.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit’s video tools.
• Address client inquiries and help with tax-related challenges.
