Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax - Retail Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location in the United States. You will provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software support to in-person customers.

You will build a local client base, drive community engagement, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience while leveraging TurboTax marketing support. The role is non-exempt and onsite, requiring at least 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and tax law knowledge preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain any related state licenses/certificates/pergets/bonds (bonds).
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040s per tax season with professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail/flagship location, 20+ hours/week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent TurboTax locally as a community ambassador and attract new clients.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government sites, tools, and team expertise.
• Create exceptional customer experiences, guiding clients to financial goals and ongoing relationships.
• Engage in local marketing activities with TurboTax support to grow the client base.
