Job summary

Intuit is seeking dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to serve customers on-site in Georgia, combining tax expertise with community outreach. You’ll provide hands-on tax preparation, advise on deductions, and collaborate with a team of specialists to deliver end‑to‑end support in a local TurboTax location.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of 1040 preparation experience, active PTINs, and a willingness to grow into broader services such as bookkeeping or payroll.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Operating hours are subject to change and will likely scale up during periods of peak customer demand, such as tax season
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development. Training requirements are subject to change based on business needs and the company reserves the right to introduce additional requirements at any time
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments).
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador – actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax through outreach, referrals, and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem – connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as appropriate.
• Build Relationships – develop long‑term trust to convert transactions into loyal client relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience – ensure professionalism and support clients’ financial goals using in‑person and video tools.
• Work onsite at a TurboTax office location with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
