Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location, serving in-person and virtual clients with personal and business tax needs. You’ll provide expert tax guidance, perform returns, and collaborate with specialists to deliver a seamless Intuit experience.

You will grow the local client base, build relationships, and leverage marketing tools while following training and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations across personal and business income, deductions, and amendments.
• Be a proactive community ambassador and drive local growth through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by connecting clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.
• Build relationships to convert prospects into long-term clients and deliver a superior customer experience.
• Deliver best-in-class service through in-person and virtual interactions using Intuit tools.
