Job summary

Intuit is seeking dedicated year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to join new TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax advice, complete tax returns, and help clients navigate complex tax situations while building a local customer base and community presence.

As a local ambassador, you will promote Intuit solutions, participate in community events, and collaborate with teams to expand services such as bookkeeping and payroll.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA or attorney with tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
• Willingness to upskill into bookkeeping/payroll/finance advisory with training from Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete all required training and development; additional requirements may be added.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax Expert presence in the community.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Offer future tax planning advice using government resources and professional tools.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow local customer base and drive growth.
• Lead local events and partnerships to create opportunities for customer engagement.
• Guide clients to Intuit ecosystem solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through professional service and clear communication.
