Job summary

Intuit Inc. is hiring for a TurboTax Local Service Expert to perform on-site tax return preparation and provide expert advice at a TurboTax location in the United States.

You will work with a team of specialists to deliver end-to-end tax solutions and help grow the local client base through community engagement. The role emphasizes hands-on preparation, customer service excellence, and collaboration across tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services, with a focus on building lasting client

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax through outreach and events.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients to bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and other Intuit services.
• Build Relationships - develop long-term relationships with clients and communities.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - ensure professional, helpful service and clear financial guidance.
