Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks on-site TurboTax Local Service Experts in California to provide hands-on tax preparation and personalized advisory services.

You will collaborate with a broader team of specialists to deliver end-to-end TurboTax experiences for individuals and small businesses. You will grow the local client base, build long-term relationships, and help clients navigate complex tax scenarios, including deductions, amendments, and planning.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years filing 30+ federal/state 1040 tax returns per season with professional software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, 20+ hours/week.
• Must complete required training and development; uniforms provided; name/picture used for advertising.
• Interest in building local community presence and online engagement for TurboTax.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, from simple to complex situations.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow the local client base and form partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem services like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience both in-person and virtually.
• Maintain professional standards and stay compliant with training requirements.
