Intuit Inc. seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to perform on-site tax preparation, deliver expert tax advice, and coordinate with specialists to provide end-to-end service.

You will build a local client base, conduct outreach, and foster lasting relationships while representing Intuit in the community. Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 20+ hours per week, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Must complete required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear uniforms and be used in advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a local community ambassador to grow the customer base through outreach and events.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build long-term relationships by understanding complete financial pictures.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with empathy and professionalism.
