Intuit, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join as TurboTax Local Service Experts at one of our new TurboTax locations in the United States.

This role focuses on full-service tax return preparation, expert tax advice, and software support, while also expanding TurboTax’s local client base through community engagement and partnerships. You will work onsite, collaborate with a team of specialists, and help clients navigate complex tax scenarios, including business income and amendments.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including compliance training, proficiency-based up-skilling, cross-training of other products or offerings, and professional development
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations and tax planning.
• Be a proactive community ambassador by growing a local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build lasting client relationships and ensure a comprehensive financial picture is addressed in each engagement.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience across in-person and virtual channels, addressing inquiries and tax challenges.
