Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to join on-site teams at TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax advice, prepare returns, and connect clients with a broader suite of Intuit services to help achieve financial goals.

You’ll grow your local business through community outreach, events, and partnerships while delivering a seamless end-to-end TurboTax experience in-person and via virtual tools.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• At least 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per tax season with professional tax prep software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 20 hours per week minimum, Monday–Friday.
• Must complete training and development as required by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and be willing to use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, including simple to complex personal and business returns.
• Build and grow a local client base through outreach, grass-roots marketing, and community partnerships.
• Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services as appropriate.
• Deliver an end-to-end TurboTax experience, collaborating with specialists as needed.
• Create a best-in-class customer experience with professional, empathetic client interactions.
• Engage with customers in-person and via Intuit video tools to address inquiries and tax challenges.
