Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks passionate TurboTax Local Service Experts to prepare taxes on-site and advise clients, connecting them with Intuit’s ecosystem. You will collaborate with specialists to deliver end-to-end services, while growing a local client base through outreach and community events.

You will advise on personal and business income, deductions, amendments, and future tax planning, ensuring a seamless customer experience and long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete all required training and development as determined by the business; training requirements may change.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may have to use your name/image for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; create tax tips/resources for community in line with Intuit policies.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus; experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Assist in connecting clients with Intuit ecosystem services such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build relationships and grow a local client base through outreach and community events.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional conduct and clear communication.
