Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location in California. You will advise customers, prepare simple to complex tax returns, and help clients navigate tax obligations while building a local client base.

You will collaborate with a team, participate in local marketing, and deliver top-notch service using TurboTax tools. A valid EA/CPA/attorney license and PTIN are preferred, with 20+ hours weekly and weekend availability.

Formación

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: Represent TurboTax locally, engage with prospects, and lead local marketing efforts.
• Provide Tax Expertise: Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience: Create a professional, helpful client experience and build trust.
• Utilize resources to deliver accurate tax solutions in everyday language.
• Interact with customers in-person and via TurboTax video tools.
• Address client inquiries and help them overcome tax challenges.
