Job summary

Intuit seeks experienced TurboTax Retail Experts to assist customers in‑person at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location nationwide. You’ll provide full-service tax preparation, tax advice, and software support while growing your client base in the local community.

This non-exempt, onsite role emphasizes customer service, tax accuracy, and community engagement, with opportunities for marketing collaboration and client growth.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted professional license (EA, CPA, or attorney) required.
• PTIN required to file taxes.
• State licenses/certificates as needed to file taxes.
• At least 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state returns.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Able to work onsite 20+ hours/week at a TurboTax location.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Front-facing retail environment experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax locally.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and plan ahead.
• Utilize government resources and professional tools to deliver accurate tax solutions.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and empathy.
• Build long-term client relationships and trust in the local community.
• Interact with customers in person and via Intuit video tools.
• Address client inquiries and help overcome tax-related challenges.
