Job summary

Summit Truck Bodies in Kansas is seeking a Talent Acquisition & HR Generalist to balance full-cycle recruitment with HR administration at our Wathena plant. You will partner with leadership to source top talent and optimize onboarding, HRIS integrity, policy compliance and payroll execution.

This on-site role requires collaboration with leadership, accurate employee records, and handling payroll tasks while supporting HR initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Professional communication skills, across all levels of the organization.
• Commitment to confidentiality and sound judgment handling sensitive employee information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to travel to local locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to source and recruit top talent and manage full-cycle recruitment.
• Support onboarding, benefits orientation, I-9 compliance, and payroll-related tasks.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and ensure policy compliance.
• Assist with HR compliance tasks and respond to employee inquiries.
• Travel to local facilities as needed for HR activities.
