Job summary

RTX in Woburn, MA seeks a student engineer to join the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities team. You will help integrate hardware and software, develop test plans, debug interfaces, and verify system requirements during the product lifecycle. Travel up to 20% may be required.

You will support program development, testing, integration, and post-deployment activities, collaborating with diverse teams to ensure first-time readiness.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced STEM degree and enrolled through internship/co-op.
• Minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the internship/co-op.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues using common lab test equipment.
• Experience gained through on-the-job, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Support testing and troubleshooting of hardware and software components.
• Perform functional analysis and data-driven assessments to improve fielded systems.
• Assist in integration, flight-testing, production and post-deployment phases.
• Prepare reports and briefings with results for stakeholders.
• Collaborate across disciplines to implement system solutions.
• Utilize MATLAB/Python for data analysis and automation tasks.
