Job summary

RTX is offering an internship/co-op in Tewksbury, MA for Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities. You will help integrate hardware and software, develop test plans, debug, verify system requirements, and support across the product lifecycle.

The role emphasizes collaboration, travel up to 20%, and hands-on work with MATLAB, data analysis, and system integration in a lab or field setting, with on-site expectations in MA.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in or related STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
• Experience with troubleshooting technical issues in an academic or internship setting, including the use of common commercial test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities related to testing and troubleshooting of hardware and software
• Functional analysis of real world and test data; trade studies to bring advanced features to fielded system
• Support troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes and advanced use of lab or field test equipment
• System integration and test support, possibly including live fire test events
• Support activity may require travel
• Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations, including the use of analysis tools, such as MATLAB
• Support qualification of our products
• Sustainment/Depot returns and repair
• Maintain engineering specifications (DS, ARD, etc.) & drawing (Schematics & Assembly Drawings)
• Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders
• Maintain engineering databases
• Participate in periodic team meetings, interface teleconference meetings, working group meetings
