Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Systems Support Engineer to lead setup, support, and management of automated fulfillment systems in our evolving pharmacy environments. This role is based onsite in Overland Park, KS, with travel to Mesa, AZ as needed during training.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in technology support, system management, or another technology administration role.
Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Beginner level of experience in databases, SQL, and data tools.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (Domestic).
Ability to work full-time schedules during business hours 6:00 am - 11:00 pm, including occasional overtime or weekends.

Responsibilities

Set up, ongoing support, and management of critical automation PCs, servers, and PLCs.
Interface with pharmacy workers to understand system problems and update them on issue statuses.
Coordinate with internal and external teams for software upgrades, bug fixes, patching, and new equipment.
Work with partner teams to coordinate project activities during installs and extended support.
Debug PLCs, networking, power systems, I/O devices on the automation line.
Use data analytics to troubleshoot and improve performance and reliability of equipment and entire system.
Other duties may be assigned based on business needs.
